I, Eric John, am a disciple of Jesus Christ and communicant of the Orthodox Christian Church. I am a sort of husbandman or crofter, to use the old terms. Hilarius is but a nom-du-plume in honor of St. Hilary (Latin Hilarius of Poitiers, France (c. 350 A.D.)).
